Hannover Messe - a global hotspot for the digital transformation of industry
Hannover Messe 2018 was stage to the latest developments in digital solutions in industry and once again underscored its reputation as a global hotspot for the digital transformation of industry. Under the motto of "Integrated Industry – Connect & Collaborate", the trade show received a total of 210,000 and hosted a total of 5 800 exhibitors. Various technologies were showcased such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, industrial IT platforms, the use of robots and autonomous systems in production and intralogistics.

The objective of this initiative is to increase the growth potential of SMEs in the Netherlands.

Internet of services: game change in service business models
IoT devices have changed environments into internet-based environments using mobility and cloud technology that enable new forms of applications integrated with added value as an internet of services. IoT sensors at a few dollars a time connected through the internet help to collect data, but real value to a user is in hiding the IoT’s complexity and providing the required value by incorporating useful information. Interesting examples in monitoring will be revisited.
